Recycled gold and gemstones from Idar-Oberstein
In addition to the design of a piece of jewelry, it is very important to us to know where our precious metals and gemstones come from.
We work with RJC-certified gold and silver refineries, some of which even recycle CO2-neutrally in Southern Germany. Our gemstones also come from family-run businesses in Idar-Oberstein.

OUR PRECIOUS METALS
All the precious metals we use come from secondary sources. This means they were not specially mined and are referred to as recycled gold.
The gold and silver refineries from which we source our precious metals operate according to high ethical and ecological standards and are all subject to the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) agreement.
EIN PAAR Fakten
We work exclusively in 14 kt and 18 kt, which we mark in our jewelry with the fineness stamp 585 or 750 in accordance with hallmarking law.
We process nickel-free, recycled sterling silver, which is marked with the 925 hallmark in our silver jewelry pieces.
Mokume Gane is a metalworking technique originating from Japan. Various precious metals are forge-welded in layers to form a block, which is then rolled and repeatedly twisted. This creates a unique pattern reminiscent of wood grain.
We buy your old gold locally at fair prices. In some cases, it can also be directly transformed into a new piece of jewelry. For more information, please also check out our old gold service.

OUR GEMSTONES
In our goldsmith's workshop, we carry a range of various gemstones from which you can choose a suitable one for your custom piece.
Do you have a very specific idea? Then we will show you a small selection that perfectly matches your piece of jewelry.
Of course, we also rework your inherited pieces. Feel free to talk to us about it!
Our Modules
DIAMONDS ARE A GIRL´S BEST FRIEND!
That probably hasn't changed since Marilyn Monroe. To ensure they can be worn with a clear conscience, we source diamonds from family-run businesses. You are also welcome to bring diamonds from an heirloom piece.
As with our diamonds, we only process gemstones from long-established family businesses in Idar-Oberstein. Here, too, we transform gemstones brought in from old pieces of jewelry into new eye-catchers.
In addition to processing recycled gold, we collect all gold dust generated during jewelry production to return it to the cycle after a few years. Our precious metals are refined by CO2-neutral gold and silver refineries.

Behind the Scenes...
...We love what we do!
The success of our goldsmiths can be explained in a few words: WE LOVE WHAT WE DO!
And that applies to all areas.
Individual advice, work at the workbench, projects that we develop behind the scenes.
We want to stay connected with our customers even beyond a purchase. To achieve this, we go a step further: Plans include a newsletter and a blog on topics such as lifestyle, sustainability, and of course, the goldsmith's craft.
